Glenallachie 12 Year Old Moscatel Wood Europe Exclusive

Bottled for Europe, this whisky matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for more than 8 years and was then transferred to Moscatel casks for another 42 months. Moscatel barriques provide floral aromas and a smooth mouthfeel.

The nose carries orange blossom, honey, citrus, grapefruit and butterscotch. The taste reveals dark chocolate and plum jam, accented with fruit notes, cinnamon, honeycomb, and a touch of ginger in the finish.
