Blanton's Straight From The Barrel Bourbon Whiskey

Named after Albert B. Blanton, who devoted more than 60 years to the Buffalo Trace Distillery Blanton’s The Original was first introduced in 1984, which is a very limited Bourbon, handpicked from the very best casks from Warehouse H. This unique warehouse, clad entirely in metal, experiences dramatic temperature swings between day and night, and it is steamed during winter time to maintain warm! This maturation style enhances the whiskey’s aging process, resulting in a smooth yet complex whiskey.

The cask strength version offers a richer and more intense nose compared to the Original or Gold Edition. It opens with layers of caramel and vanilla, followed by dried apple, citrus, and dried apricot, enhanced by warm notes of spices and nuts like walnut and hazelnut. On the palate, the flavors of caramel, vanilla, dried apple, and citrus, delivered with a strong but oily texture. Hints of charred oak, pepper, and spices add depth and complexity. The finish is long, leaving lingering notes of caramel, oak, and a subtle peppery warmth.
