Chorlton Whisky - Ardmore 9 Year Old

Spending its first 8 years in a refilled Sherry puncheon and the last 12 months in a Bourbon barrel.The nose is comparatively gentle at its abv (60.1%) - smoky baked apple, with orange cream and honey, smoked bacon, rye bread. More fruitiness are developed with time.The palate is ashy and smoky with burnt honey, gingerbread, with some green grapes, candied orange. A long finish with an aftertaste of orangey coriander seed.
