Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey

Elijah Craig, a Baptist preacher and pioneer in the 18th century, is credited with being the first to age whiskey in charred oak barrels after a fortuitous fire at his mill. Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky continues his legacy, crafting each bottle of Elijah Craig Bourbon using his original methods—combining local corn and grains with limestone-rich Kentucky spring water for fermentation, then distilled and aged.

This Small Batch is one of the core range products of Elijah Craig. With Burnished copper color, on nose the whiskey is delightfully complex, with notes of vanilla bean, sweet fruit; while on palate it is smooth and warm; pleasantly woody with accents of spice and smoke, the long lingering finish is sweet and slightly toasty.
