Oban 14YO delivers a fruity nose - fresh oranges, lemons and pears, with a hint of salt and very light peat. While on palate, there are dried fig, spices and oakiness. A long and smooth finish, with oaky sweetness and a grain of salt.

Oban stands out as both a coastal and urban distillery, operating with just two onion-shaped stills and worm tubs. Though small in scale, it produces a light yet characterful whisky, relying on hot worm tub operation and oxygen exposure post-distillation to optimize copper interaction.

The result is a clean, fruity spirit with a mineral and subtly salty finish, especially after refill cask maturation. Since joining the Classic Malts range in 1989, Oban has built a solid global presence, particularly among American whisky lovers.
